ECSC is a great way to learn important digital skills in an engaging environment. You can solve security challenges and make friends, you can compete and connect, you can hack and defend. ECSC is more than just a competition – it brings together youth from different backgrounds, encouraging teamwork and communication. In a world that relies more and more on technology, ECSC plays a vital role in preparing the next generation of cybersecurity experts. Let’s meet during ECSC in Warsaw!
What Is It About
We hack. We compete. We connect.
ECSC brings together the brightest young European minds in cybersecurity. Aiming to provide a platform for sharing experience and networking, the future generations of experts get a chance to challenge each other and prove their skills in attack, defence and jeopardy. All of it serves a higher purpose of increasing cybersecurity awareness, inspiring the youth to dive into the topic and guiding them on a cybersecurity career path, securing a safe future for Europe
Who Is It For
The participating teams are formed in the qualification process through the national competitions. Tens of thousands of candidates take part in those preliminary events, ensuring the high competitiveness of the ECSC. In the end, national teams consisting of ten members, five people aged 14-20 and another five aged 21-25, battle their way through two days of various tasks. However, there is no age barrier for following the event, supporting your favourite team and getting involved in this beautiful showcase of European unity!

The European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC) was launched in 2014 in Fürstenfeld, Austria, with three teams competing. Over the next decade, it expanded rapidly, reaching 31 official teams from EU and EFTA countries by its 2024 edition in Turin, Italy. Guest teams from Australia, Canada, and the U.S. joined the 10th-anniversary event, bringing the total number of participating nations to 40. This year, the participants will meet in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, to once more battle for the title of the best young hackers in Europe.
